So I finally got around to hooking my scanner back up. Slowly I'm phasing everything out and going straight digital. That all depends on when my taxes get back. So in celebration of that happening, I present the Joker Final.

I decided against a background. I feel it would just make the line work look bad. So there you have it folks. An update. WOO! Tootles.

Art dump numero uno

This is gonna be where I just post random amounts of art I have done over the years. Mostly unfinished work that I'm to lazy to get around cleaning up. First up...

Goth Girl Comic This was done almost 3 years ago. The whole story behind doing this horrible idea was that I got stuck doing the newspaper at Anchor Bay High School. My "partner" for my section of the newspaper was Sarah Korolowicz, who was going through that emo/goth phase at that time. Now Sarah left within the first few weeks of the class, leaving me to finish mountains of work. As a little dig at her I created this. Your basic 3-4 panel comic with minimal color. The comic you see is I think the 6th or 7th in the series. The rest are somewhere in the many folders around my room. The quick color was done by Haley, my ex who can be found here. She does great work so if you need a snazzy site done, look her up.

Next up is a gift I did for an ex ( I sense a theme coming) for our anniversary. It came from a photo her friend took at prom. We both looked all snazzy and cute and I guess us caught in the moment equals "OMG THEY'RE MAKING OUT :snap:". But stupidity aside I think it made for a great picture.

Just your average pencil sketch. Done in 05' I believe. I had the original framed a while back. It sits in my closet with the rest of the art. Done with a Bic mechanical pencil (0.7mm) on regular printer paper. I don't know why I never finished it. She's one of the few I still talk to and care about so sooner than later it will be done.

Up next is one that everyone seems to like for some reason. I guess I just don't see what is so great about it. Meh.

The Red Cry( shitty name I know)

Obviously not finished. Just did a quick scan, tossed it in to paint to clean up the gray edges and just got lazy I guess. Done originally in a Bic .07mm mechanical pencil and then lined with Prismacolor Premier Fine Line Markers (my preferred inking pens) The bits of red and mass amounts of black were done in Sharpie. I've often thought about redoing it completely but I just haven't had the time I guess.

Thats it for now. And who said I never update this thing. Check back in a few days. I got more lined up.

Stile Fan Art

So a while back there was this post on a message board I frequent. The whole premise of the of board is "Anything that's fucked up, its here". And I'll be damned, it was true. The mass network of Stilenet is made up of Porn, Gore, and more porn. The thing that attracted me though, was the comic they hosted. Four to 5 panel comics titled Stilesux. In these you would see Jay Stile (Canadian, artist, Jew) in a variety of situations such as cruising the net, finding love, and having a asian poop on his chest. So basically I was ennamered from the begining. So much so that when I saw an opening for a new artist, I lept at the chance. Below is the outcome.

Yes that is ment to be bodily fluids. I went for a style more out of my range. Big eyes, jacked up teeth. Kinda anime meets... cartoon porn I guess. Needless to say I didnt get the job. The comic still sits in limbo a good 2 years later. Hopefully something with come of it.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Its in the starting stages at the moment so let me get everything in order and it will start looking snazzy. First things first though. Introduction!

This is me. Daniel Allen. Dann for short if you will. Twenty three, from the Rust Belt that is Michigan. Don't mind the emo picture seen above. Its the best looking picture I have on my laptop at the moment. I enjoy the minor things in life. Coffee with friends, good music of all varities. I will call you out if you have a shitty taste in music though. In my spare time I draw.

As you can see I'm not horrible at it. I mostly do comic book art. Though I tend to do commissions of anything. Mind you for a price depending on what it is.
